Knowledge Convention 2010
BERAKAS, July 26 – In conjunction with the 64th birthday anniversary of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a Knowledge Convention (Majlis Ilmu 2010) has been organised.

MIB, according to His Majesty, is the soul of Brunei. It could not be seen through the naked eyes but it should be seen through understanding and awareness. Everyone should understand that MIB is not a narrow path but one that is long and wide. It promises comfort and welfare to everyone.

His Majesty expressed his hope that the Knowledge Convention will be able to change the perception on MIB.

Also present at the official opening ceremony were His Royal Highness Crown Prince Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah, His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim and His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik.

At the event, His Majesty also took a closer look at the convention’s exhibition where with the theme ‘Tamadun Melayu Bestari’ the exhibition features historical information materials, evident and valuable Malay artefacts showcased by various local and foreign institutions.
