BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 26 – Brunei Darussalam will be participating in the 52nd International Al-Quran Reading Competition for year 1431 Hijriah/2010 Masihi held at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from July 27 to August 3.

Representing Brunei to the competition are qari (male reader) Awangku Mohd. Adibul Amin bin Pengiran Haji Marjuki and qariah (female reader) Dayang Nurfaezah binti Haji Emran.

Both are the champions ( qari and qariah ) of the National Al-Quran Reading Competition 1431 Hijriah which was held last May at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.
