BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 24 – The participants in the Training Programme ‘Increase Policy and VTET Practice through Educational Assessment’ from SEAMEO VOCTEC Regional Centre visited Technical Educational Department.

The delegation was led by the Director of Regional Affairs SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre, Dr. Paryono.

A total of 20 participants from ASEAN including Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam comprising of teachers, lecturers, expertises, principals, officers and senior administrators from various government associations and non-government respective countries are participating in the program.

The visit aimed to have a closer look at the activities conducted by the Research Division.  The delegation was welcomed by the Acting Director of Technical Education, Pengiran Suhaimi bin Pegiran Haji Bakar.

During the visit, the participants were briefed on the organisation structure, direction, challenges and courses provided in the Vocational and Technical Educational Institution by the Assistant Director, Denis Ho Mun Tai.
