BERAKAS, July 23 - The involvement of Brunei Darussalam Amateur Radio Federation (BDARA) in the 6th Borneo Amateur Radio Festival reflects the commitment and interest of the members of the association on radio amateur.

The Deputy Director II of Youth and Sports, Awang Haji Muhammad Zamri bin Dato Paduka Haji Hamdani stated the matter at the official opening of the 6th  Borneo Amateur Radio Festival 2010.

The three-day festival will be held until July 25 which is organised by Brunei Darussalam Amateur Radio Festival held at Anjung, Sports Village, Sports Complex of Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.

The festival provides an opportunity to the radio amateur enthusiasts to exchange and share ideas on the facilities used in the amateur radio.  

Around 300 participants from Kalimantan of Indonesia, Sabah and Sarawak from Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam are taking part in this event.
