THE government is urging village heads and penghulus to arm themselves with digital cameras to improve the way they deliver reports with the use of digital pictures.

A total of 100 penghulus and village heads from the Brunei-Muara district yesterday attended a workshop on the use of digital cameras organised by the Information Department.

The Head of Photography and Audio Visual Department of the Information Department, Hj Mohd Yusof Mohd Yassin briefed participants on how to work a digital camera and how they could use the pictures they take to come up with better and more creative reports, stressing it will improve the way they keep the government updated on developments at the local level.

Around 100 Penghulu and Ketua Kampong from the Brunei-Muara District yesterday attended a Digital Photography Workshop held at the Dewan Muhibbah in Berakas.

The workshop entitled "The Usage of Digital Photography Made Easy" was conducted by the Information Department and saw its Head of the Photography and Audio Visual Department, Awg Hj Yusop Mohd Yassin, as the guest speaker.
