Visit to Information Department
Information Department welcomes a study visit comprising of new officers and staff currently undergoing an Induction Programme from Ministry of Development on Thursday, July 29 at 2.30pm located at Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Conference Room, Information Department, Old Airport in Berakas. 
 
Civic Course 2010
Information Department in collaboration with Scholarship Division Ministry of Education, Islamic Studies Department Ministry of Religious Affairs and Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd are organising a Civic Course for Brunei Darussalam's Undergraduates Studying Overseas (2010) that will be held at SEAMEO Voctech International House, Jalan Pasar Bahru, Gadong from 1st August until 5th August 2010.
 
The official opening will be held on August 2, 2.30pm; while the closing ceremony will be held on August 5, 2.45pm. The venues for both ceremonies will be held at Dewan Setia Negara, Information Department.
 
Youth Day Posters Handing Over Ceremony
The Information Department, Prime Minister's Office has published a poster to commemorate Youth Day. In this regard a poster handing-over ceremony will be held at 2.00pm on Saturday, July 24 located at Dewan Citra Budaya, Ground Floor, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Berakas. The guest of honour is Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Jemat bin Haji Ampal, Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
 
MoU: Officers Exchange Program
Information Department, Prime Minister's Office welcome delegations from Malaysia and Thailand for the Officer sExchange Programme under the Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Information from July 24 to 28.
 
Majlis Ilmu 2010
A poster handing-over ceremony for the Majlis Ilmu 2010 (Knowledge Convention) poster will be held at Information Department on Wednesday, July 14 at the Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Conference Room. The ceremony will start at 2.00pm.

Information Department as Committee for Jawatankuasa Kegiatan dan Penerangan for His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 64th Birthday Anniversary announced that the official website  for His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 64th Birthday Anniversary is now officially launched.

Among others this website contains news and information in conjunction with the celebration. Members of the public are welcomed to browse the website at www.royalbirthday.org.bn  

 
 
PENTARAMA

In conjunction with the 64th birthday anniversary of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Information Department will be organising Pentarama at all districts.

The schedules are as follow;

  • - Temburong District on Saturday, July 17 at Taman Perayaan Pekan Bangar.
  • - Brunei Muara District on Tuesday, July 20 at the open area in front of the Royal Regalia Building, Bandar Seri Begawan.
  • - Belait District on Saturday, July 24 at Taman Persiaran, Jalan Sungai, Kuala Belait.
  • - Tutong District on Wednesday, July 28 at Dewan Kemasyarakatan Mukim Kg Serambangun.

  • The events will start by 8.30pm.
 
Media Briefing
A Media Briefing in conjunction with His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam 64th Birthday Anniversary wiill be held on Monday, July 12 at 2.00pm located at Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Conference Room, Information Department, Old Airport in Berakas
 
National Flag Waving Campaign
Information Department will be organising a campaign on waving the national flag in conjunction with the 64th royal birthday of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
 
The campaign for Brunei-Muara district will be held on June 17, 2010, Thursday at Mukim Pengkalan Batu Community Hall, Kampung Parit.
 
The campaign will also be held at the Temburong District on June 21, 2010, Monday at Kampong Selangan Multipurpose Hall, Mukim Amo and for Tutong District on June 22, 2010, Tuesday at Tanjong Maya Secondary School, Mukim Tanjong Maya
 
Visit to Brunei Darussalam
Information Department, Prime Minister's Office welcome a visit by officers from Information Department of Malaysia together with Komuniti Bestari Members and Communication & Informatics Department and Public Information Group (KIM), the Republic of Indonesia from June 14 to 18.
