Media Services Division of Information Department announced  that a Media Briefing in conjunction with the upcoming 26th National Day of Brunei Darussalam will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 2.00pm located at Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Conference Room, Information Department, Old Airport in Berakas.

The Information Department, Prime Minister's Office is organising the National Flag Hoisting Campaign 2010 inconjunction with the upcoming 26th National Day of Brunei Darussalam. The event will be held at all districts and the schedule are as follow:

Tutong District

Date: Thursday, February 4 at 8.30am
Venue: Seri Kenangan Hall, Tutong Community Hall Complexs
Guest of honour: Yang Mulia Awang Haji Mawardi bin Haji Abdullah, Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Home Affairs

Brunei Muara District

Venue: Sukma Indera Hall, Rimba II Primary School, Gadong
Guest of honour: Yang Mulia Awang Haji Saiful Bahri bin Haji Awang Mansor, Deputy Permanent Secretary at Prime Minister's Office

Belait District

Temburong District

Information Department will be organising a Civic Course 2010 for Bruneian students studying in Australia and New Zealand from January 25 to 28, 2010.

The official opening ceremony will take place on January 25, 2010, Monday, 8.30am. The guest of honour during the opening ceremony is Yang Mulia Pengiran Abd Haris bin Pengiran Haji Shahbudin, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.

The course will officially closed on January 28, 2010, Thursday, 2.00pm with a certificate awarding ceremony and the guest of honour is Yang Mulia Awang Haji Mohd Daud bin Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at Ministry of Education. The Both events will take place at the Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Conference Room.

The Development and Capacity Building Division of Information Department is organising a Four Day Induction Course For New Officers and Staff at the department starting on Monday, January 18 to Thursday, January 21.

Day 2 - Briefing by Head of Division at Information Department (cont.)

Day 3 - Visit to Temburong District Branch and Team Building Activities at OBBD Kuala Belalong

Day 4 - Visit to Belait District Branch and Tutong District Branch
