His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to visit the Singapore AirShow 2012 at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore on Thursday, February 16. Picture above shows His Majesty touring a new Boeing 787 Dreamliner parked outside the exhibit hall and was briefed on the features of the plane by Boeing representative.

Flag Waving Campaign 2012

Information Department, Prime Minister's Office is organising the Flag Waving Ceremony 2012 for Temburong District on Tuesday, February 7 at 9.30am. The venue is at Mukim Bokok Community Hall in Temburong.

Meanwhile, for Belait District a similar events will be held on Thursday, February 9 at Kampong Pandan Community Hall in Kuala Belait.

Civic Course 2012

Information Department, Prime Minister's Office in collaboration with Scholarship Division, Ministry of Education are organising a Civic Course for Brunei Darussalam Undergraduates 2012 from 17 January until 19 January 2012 located at Information Department, Old Airport in Berakas.

The guest of honour during the opening ceremony is Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohammad bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Religious Affairs and the guest of honour for closing ceremony is Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Deputy Minister at Prime Minister's Office.

2012 Calendar

Information Department, Prime Minister's Office issued the 2012 Wall Calendar. Members of the public may obtain a free copy from the Distribution Unit, Department of Information, Old Airport in Berakas or through its Branches in Belait District, Tutong District and Temburong District during normal working hours. Friendly Match

A Friendly Match between the supporters of Manchester United FC and the supporters of Liverpool FC organised by Information Department will be held on Friday, December 2 at 7.00pm. The venue will be at Berakas Sports Complex.

New Year 1433 Hijriah Celebration

Information Department is organising the New Year 1433 Hijriah Celebration for Prime Minister's Office and Department under it on Thursday, December 1 at 2.00pm. The celebration will be held at Pengiran Setia Negara Hall, Information Department, Old Airport, Berakas and the guest of honour is Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Deputy Minister at Prime Minister's Office

Information Department in collaboration with Co-Curriculum Education Department, Ministry of Education is organising the ASEAN Quiz 2011 National Level Competition on Tuesday, November 29 at 8.30am located at Dewan Raya Radio Televisyen Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan.

Rakan Remaja Penerangan (RRP) Programme

Information Department, Prime Minister's Office is organizing the Rakan Remaja Penerangan (RRP) Programme for students from Seri Mulia Sarjana Secondary School, Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien College and Chung Hwa Secondary School. The function will be held on Wednesday, November 16 at 8.30am located at Pengiran Setia Negara Hall, Information Department, Old Airport, Berakas. Information Department, Prime Minister's Office welcome the visit by Overseas Lecture Participants of Regular Education Staffs Schools XXXVII and Indonesian Army Commando (SEKSO TNI) TA 2011 on Tuesday, November 8 at 3.30pm and also an educational visit by the Students of Beribi Religious School in Gadong on Wednesday, November 9 at 8.00am.

RIPAS Hospital Link Shuttle Bus Service

Ministry of Health announced that the RIPAS Hospital Link Shuttle Bus Service has started its operation effectively from 2 April 2011.

The shuttle bus services are provided between 6.00am to 6.00pm (from Monday-Thursday and Saturday) from Car Park Area, opposite to Jame Asr' Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampong Kiarong to Out Patient Department, RIPAS Hospital and from Out Patient Department, RIPAS Hospital to Car Park Area opposite to Jame Asr' Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampong Kiarong. Waiting interval is approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
