BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, Oktober 22. - The Department of Information, Prime Minister's Office, received a visit from a group of Delima Satu Primary School.
The delegation of 41 students and five teachers was led by Education Officer, Dayang Halizah binti Ali Akbar.
Earlier, the delegation was briefed on the organisational structure and strategies of the department such as its vision, mission, objectives and the three working strategies which are providing information about the government to the public in the country by conducting face to face communication, distribution or dissemination of published materials.
The briefing was held at the Conference Room, Level II, the Department of Information’s Additional Building, by Assistant Information Officer Awang Mohammad Nurakram bin Noraini @ Bahrin.
It was followed by a video clip presentation about the department and its mobile application InfoDeptBN.
Subsequently, it was followed by a question and answer session, photo session, and proceeded to view the department’s exhibition. The delegations also visited the Information Reference Centre, the Publications and Graphic Division and Pelita Brunei Division.
The visit was aimed at raising students' knowledge of the function of the Department of Information in Brunei Darussalam.
