The Civic Village Inculcates Religious Values

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 14 May -  The Civic Village Programme for Postgraduate of Brunei Darussalam, organised by the Department of Information continued with the implementation of religious activities to foster the spiritual nature of the participants in performing his duties and responsibilities as a Muslim.


The activity started with the Maghrib prayer in congregation, followed by the reading of Ratib Al-Attas,  the Tahlil recitation and Isyak prayer in congregation.


The session continued with brainstorming session whereby to decides for the appointment of the group leader and assistant group leader. 

45 graduates from various locally and overseas tertiary institutions were involved in the Civic Village Programme.


The Programme aims to foster and cultivate the spirit of nationhood based on the national philosophy of Islamic Malay Monarchy and at the same time, as a venue for discussion in understanding the current needs in various fields for the nation growth.
